I stayed here with my family of four for a weekend. It's what I'd expect from an inexpensive chain hotel. It's a bit outdated, but clean enough and the TV, bathroom and climate controls all worked well. The attached bar has good Happy Hour prices and the free breakfast is fine.
Was very good to us. We were traveling on motorcycles and needed a place for the night. Stopped early because tired of riding in the rain. No reservation. The room was good & clean. They're in the process of some fixing but overall all was good. Visited their lounge for a drink and a game of pool. Within walking distance of multiple food places & stores. Very accommodating to us to stay a second night due to storms. People working here are very nice.
Breakfast was fine, room was fine. As always, I'm allergic to the sheets, but beyond that a good, cheap place to stay the night
Rooms were clean and tidy. There was free WiFi. Building had an odd smell but wasn't necessarily bad, just different. No complaints, but nothing that makes it amazing, it's just a place to spend a night or two while traveling.
We stayed two separate times in a week. The first time we were on the second floor. It smelled funny, the carpet was gross, the walls outdated, and one of our key cards didn't work. It was cheap though, seemed clean, and the rooms themselves were relatively updated. So no real complaints. The second time we stayed on the first floor. The carpet seemed new as did the paint. No weird smells. The beds definitely seemed smaller but when we asked for the larger beds we were told that was the biggest they had. I want to disagree but I don't know for sure. This door didn't have a chain lock but the deadbolt still worked so it was okay. Both bathrooms had heat bulb lights in the bathroom which was neat. Walls were thin and the mattress in the second room sucked but I still enjoyed it overall. I've paid more for worse. We actually had breakfast the second time. It was okay. Nothing great but more than just cereal or a bagel so it was good. I felt safe in the hotel and in the part of town. It was extremely reasonable. The quality of the TV picture sucked which I don't know why since the TV's were new but for $66 I was honestly just pleased that it wasn't a tube TV. If I ever make the trip between Michigan and Nebraska again I'll be staying here. It's the perfect Midway point, great price, reasonably good quality, and safe feeling.
